Koshy’s – The one restaurant that we had in our bucket list from the beginning of the food journey, so on one random afternoon we decided to check-in. As we entered, we saw the placed filled with business people having a meet or team members having lunch, but no teenagers. Having this thought on the mind, we sat down and noticed we had come into the lunch-only side of the restaurant instead of the usual breakfast-lunch side.
But none the less, we ordered Sweet Lime Soda for the appetizer
and continued with Butter Naan, Panner Butter Masala
and Egg Biryani for the main course.
They served all the dishes at once and as AC was switched on, the food cooled down making it a bit difficult to consume. The ambiance is one of the best, which gives an impression of an old house. They serve the food on a warm ceramic plate which is very rare in the present days.
I’ve no recommendation for this place yet! The food tastes similar to that served in other restaurants, not unique about it.
Downsides – Finding a parking space is tedious work, given that the restaurant is right next to Hard Rock Cafe. This place gets filled up easily, especially on Sunday’s for morning breakfast. The food is bit overpriced compared to the taste and the quantity served, and not to forget the amount of TAX they charge on the bill. If you’re going for the first time, check the AC and Non-AC part of the restaurant before occupying the table.
The staff are dressed in white uniform, who greets us upon entering and taking the seat. They are friendly in approach and usually take care of serving the food instead of just leaving it on the table. I would surely be back for amazing breakfast collection (from what I’ve heard, they are one of the best).
